Terms of Use
Effective 29 October 2026
The short version: your stamps are yours. Use Pressmark for your own memories, respect the places whose stamps you collect, and keep a backup, because your book lives only on your device.
Using Pressmark
Pressmark is a personal stamp book. You may use it to photograph, keep, arrange and share stamps and photos for your own, non-commercial enjoyment. By using it, you agree to these terms.
Your content
You keep all rights to the photos, stamps, notes and books you make. We don't receive a copy and claim no rights over them.
Many stamps are designs owned by railways, temples, shrines, parks, museums or shops. Collecting them for your own book is what they're made for. Selling or commercially reusing someone else's stamp design may need their permission, and that responsibility is yours.
Respectful collecting
Please follow the rules of the places you visit. Goshuin are religious seals given by temples and shrines; many people keep them in a dedicated book (Pressmark's dedicated books let you do the same), and some places ask that you don't photograph them. When a place asks, honor it.
Your data and backups
Your book is stored only on your device (see the Privacy Policy). We can't restore it if the device is lost, reset, or its storage is cleared. Making regular backups from Settings → Back up my book is your responsibility.
Paid features
Some features may be offered as an in-app purchase. Purchases are handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their terms, including their refund policies.
No warranty
Pressmark is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will be error-free or always available, or that automatic features (like ink lifting or location names) will always be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data, arising from your use of Pressmark. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date above. Continuing to use Pressmark after a change means you accept the updated terms.
